Pixel 4a Retail Packaging Leaked

This week we’ve seen the leak of what appears to be the retail packaging of Google’s much anticipated Pixel 4a. In the leaked image shows bagged boxes in a warehouse, what we assume to be ready to distribute to the production line where the pixel 4a will be packaged. The image was first leaked from twitter in a google community and has since gone viral. How these leaks came about

It was only last month Xanthe Wells, the senior Director and Global Executive Creative Director of Google devices and services published renders of the Pixel 4a on her personal website, these were allegedly to be used for the product launch campaign in April. The images were later removed from her website. This comes after Evan Blass’s tweet leaked Pixel 4a images, fingerprint scanner, camera array and marketing renders. The announcement also showed an image of a $399 Price tag.

Google Pixel 4a will retail for $399 USD

We can expect the official release of Google Pixel 4a in the coming weeks – usually held in April, however due to the impacts of covid-19, this could be pushed back due to supply chain issues. Google was to make this announce at their 2020 I/O conference, this has since been cancelled due to lockdown fears, whether Google will go ahead with this release in the midst of a global pandemic we will soon to find out. The 4th gen pixel was to ship with a 5.81 Inch LG OLED display and a Samsung 10 like hole-punch selfie camera. The battery is alleged to pack slightly more capacity. Google Pixel 4a will retail or $399 USD.
